We are delighted to share some exciting news regarding our documentary, as things begin to fall in to place for our summer filming.

We have been in contact with Manchester United Football Club who have kindly agreed to support our production and help us create a fitting segment focussed on the 1965 cup encounter with Chester, featuring Bobby Charlton and an 18-years-old George Best, managed by Matt Busby.

We will take a look at the famous FA Cup clash which saw Chester lead 1-0 at half-time before a United comeback in the second half. I can recall my grandad telling me that Peter Hauser told the team at half-time to sit back and defend their lead in the second half, the first time he had ever done so!

Manchester United have granted us access to their stadium and museum, providing us with copies of a ticket from the game and match programme (to go alongside my grandad's) and their club historians will also be sharing their insights on camera.

An amazing gesture from the club who are delighted to help us create this love letter to football in the 60s!
